Meanwhile we arrived in Lukla, a small village in above 3000 m altitude. The only way to get here is by airplane. Thats why about a 100 of airplanes are arriving here every day to bring the masses of tourists here that want to start trekking from here. It is only one of the 10 most dangerous airports in the world. One airplane crashes every two year, the last one last year.
So we were safe. I (Diana) was already throwing up on the way to the airplane and creeping inside it, so it could not become worse. But we had a nice calm flight we an incredible view and a safe landing. Now we are in beautiful Lukla with the noise of the airport, the smell of kerosin and the shopping street. We can not wait to get healthy again and start our trek.

Did u know that Lukla means place with many goats and sheep?? Have u seen any or is it only climbers, their big shoes and tents that one can see there this period??
